Location : Youngsan River, Naju-si, Jeonnam-do, Korea
The existing flooding facility shown at the left has only blind gates and
the actuators to lift the gates. The new project plans to construct pump
gate system at the upstream of the existing facility and flap gates at
outside of the existing facility while the existing facility remains open.
Bottom beam is positoned on the rebar for the bottom floor.
Side beam and upper beam are erected to form a guide frame.
Pump gate assembly is arranged for Factory Acceptance Test.
Self descendable actuator is installed at the actuator test bench to
show the lifting capability.
Roller gate is installed with the main rollers guided within guide frame.
Pump is mounted on the flange of roller gate.
Spindle is erected to connect the spindle bracket on roller gate and
the actuator at the top of the structure.
Actuator is lifted for the installation at the top of the structure.
Robochain is installed for the safe and easy handling of the power /
control cables from the pump.
Guide frames are installed at the outlet of waterway towards the outside river.
Three sets of flap gates are shown against the existing actuators at
the upper right of the above picture.
The installation of the actuators at the top of the structure is completed.
Building work for the control room at the top of the structure where
actuators and local control panel stay in in progress after the actuators
and the local control panel were installed in advance.
Pre-commissioning is in progress at the control room where
local control panel and actuator are installed.
