HASUH Pump Gate®, completed in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, Korea

The budget for this project can be saved by utilization of the existing concrete structure. Three gates are replaced among all five blind gates with pump gate through the two step phase #1/#2.

                               The original station had five blind gates as shown in the above.

                                       Local control panel is made at the manufacturer's shop.

                                    Pump test is performed for Factory Acceptance Test.

                                     Factory Acceptance Tesst is performed at the factory.

      Pump gate is installed at the site. Sealing along the perimeter of the gate

                            leaf is shown at the inside.

 

 

                            Pump gate is installed at its position. Next spindle is to be connected.

 

 

                              The blind gate for the second from the left was removed for the

                               pump gate installation.

 

 

                            Pump gate is lifted for the installation at the second vacant structure.

 

 

Self descendable actuator waits for the installation at the site.

 

 



                             The front view contrasts the two pump gates at the left and the three

                              blind gates at the right. Pump gate system has the advantage to utilize

                              the existing structure which results in the budget saving.
